Supporting Junior Achievement

The Rotary Club of Akron-Newstead recently gave support to the Junior Achievement program at Akron Central School. Above Rotarian Terry Zazynski presents Junior Achievement of Western New York's Public Relations Manager Kathy Romanowski and Brian Perry, Perry's Ice Cream's Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman and a member of Junior Achievement's Executive Board of Directors, a $700 check from the local club in support of JA's efforts at ACS.

Newstead Historical Society Update

The Annual Newstead Historical Society Harvest Supper held at the Akron Central School High School Cafeteria, 47 Bloomingdale Ave., Akron on October 14 was another wonderful success.
