During a press conference in Akron Falls Park Tuesday morning, Newstead businessman John Schrock launched his campaign to represent Erie County’s 4th District.


Personal attack on posters inappropriate

While walking in the village last Tuesday, I noticed a couple of posters stapled to a tree. Thinking it was for an upcoming garage sale, I decided to take a closer look. To my disgust, I realized it was a vulgar personal attack against another human being.

I recently read an article about unclaimed benefits, and that thousands of Americans may have money that belongs to them but don’t know about it. Can you give me some information about this? Both of my parents passed away a few years ago and their personal and financial affairs were in such a mess, I’m wondering if there’s anything I overlooked. Also, I think my father had some type of life insurance policy but I never could find it. Any tips you could give me would be appreciated.
