By law, the Village Board holds a re-organizational meeting the first Monday of each April. In announcing his appointments for the 2003-2004 year at this year’s Annual Meeting Mayor Ray Perkins indicated that over the next four years he plans to rotate the position of Deputy Mayor and Committee Coordinators to allow all of the Trustees experience in each of these areas.

Village Board adds time for public comment to agenda

Akron Village Board members voted Monday night to open a portion of each meeting for public comments and questions at the request of Mayor Ray Perkins.
