Sidewalk Sale may be sidelined this spring

The annual Akron Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Sale and Craft Show may be sidelined this spring due to a lack of volunteers and participants. For the second year in a row, no one has volunteered to chair the event. Reflecting on dwindling participation by area businesses and patrons of the event, and the lack of leadership this year, the board is seriously considering canceling this June event.

Survey prompts Informational meeting on Open Space preservation
