Akronís Memorial Day observance in Russell Park included some challenges and calls to action.

Change is not new for APD Officer Bob Farrington

Officer Robert Farrington watched the Village of Akronís police department undergo many changes during his time as an officer. Now the department will change again, this time by saying goodbye to a man who has served the community for almost 35 years. Mr. Farrington will retire from the department this summer.

Eleven awarded tenure at Akron Central

Ten were honored at a Tenure Reception last Wednesday evening, just prior to the Akron Central School Board of Education voting to grant them tenure.
