Akron Central will begin its 23rd Scholastic Bowl Competition season on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Genesee Community College. Area high schools in this televised league include: Akron, Pembroke, Alexander, Oakfield, Attica, Alden, Notre Dame, Le Roy, Byron-Bergen, Elba, Batavia and Pavilion.

Akron Central setting appointments for Kindergarten registration

The Akron Central School District has announced dates for kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year. Parents of children born between December 2, 2006 and December 1, 2007 are reminded that it is time to register their child for kindergarten.
