ACS names Athlete of the Week

This week’s ACS Athlete of the Week is senior co-captain Maggie Kowalik, a returning 3-year starter on the varsity girls basketball team. Kowalik is leading the team in scoring with a 10-point average. She is also averaging 4 rebounds per game.

The Akron Central Varsity Girls Basketball team opened up their 2014-15 season with a 31-28 non-league victory versus Buffalo Olmstead.

The Akron Central High School Freshman and Junior classes are sponsoring an electronic recycling collection this Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
