Ordination of Trinity Lutheran’s new pastor planned August 22

The Ordination Rick-Mellenkopf-Grill, the new pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church of South Newstead Road, Akron, NY, will be live streamed on Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Townline Lutheran Church of Alden.

Trinity welcomed Pastor Rick as their new pastor on Sunday, August 1.  Pastor Rick led his first worship service on Sunday, August 2, helped with the Akron-Newstead Food Pantry’s distribution on Tuesday, August 4.

Pastor Rick comes from Alden, New York where he, his wife, and family reside.  Pastor Rick looks forward to many years of working with the people of Trinity to spread God’s word and to get to know the people of Akron through community activities.

His installation date has not been set at this time.
