Aaron J. Muck

Aaron J. Muck of Akron, New York passed away suddenly on August 29, 2021.  He was born in Buffalo, New York on May 4, 1960 to Lyman E. and Lois A. Muck.  Aaron was a lifelong resident of Akron and graduated from Akron Central School in 1978.

Aaron’s career spanned several jobs in various manufacturing firms in Western NY.  His most recent position was at Honeywell/UOP in Tonawanda where he worked as a laboratory technician – earning several patents for his work on developing new processes for the oil and gas refining industry.

He was known by his family as the go-to guy for all things mechanical and enjoyed restoring old lawn tractors using the miniature machine shop in his basement. 

Aaron retired from Honeywell in 2008.   After retirement he enjoyed travel and particularly ocean cruises – taking multiple trips every year. 

Aaron is survived by his brother Paul (Heidi), nephew Leo, life partner Michael Herriven, and best travel buddy Greg Nappi. Memorials may be made to the SPCA OF ERIE COUNTY.

Services will be private.  Interment in Lancaster Rural Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home, LLC, 32 John Street, Akron NY 14001.  Ronald Konieczny, Director.
