Akron Lacrosse celebrates 2025 season

Member of the Akron Central School Lacrosse team gathered to celebrate a successful season at Yogis recently.

The 2025 Section VI Sportsmanship Award winning Tigers had much to celebrate.  Honors celebrated by player included:

Nicholas Fry, Captain, Midfield –

Career: 97 goals, 85 assists for 182 points. USA Lacrosse Academic All-American USA Lacrosse All-American; All-WNY First Team; All-WNY Scholar Athlete, Honorable Mention; All-Section VI First Team; All-League First Team; Section VI, Player Sportsmanship Award; ACS Outstanding Athlete, Male; Jim Downey Scholarship Award; Exceptional Senior Game All-Star Game selection; Team Heart n’ Hustle Award

Alexander Schrock, Captain, Goalie –

12 ground balls, 135 saves; All-League, Second Team; All-WNY Scholar-Athlete, Honorable Mention; Team Most Valuable Player Award

Thunder Hallett, Attack –

Career: 117 goals, 49 assists for 166 points. All-League, First Team; Exceptional Senior Game selection.

Brodie Hill, Captain, Midfield –

27 goals, 44 assists for 71 points, 63 ground balls, 106 wins of 157 faceoffs, 13 caused turnovers; All-League, First Team; Buffalo Bandits Rising Stars Underclassmen Game selection.

Andrew Bergman, Defensive Midfield –

All-WNY Scholar Athlete, Honorable Mention; ACS Scholar Athlete Award; Team Unsung Hero Award
