Akron Lions install officers

The Akron Lions Club installed their Officers and Board of Directors for 2024-2025 at a dinner held at Akron Acres on Saturday, June 22, 2024.  Officers include: President – Jeffrey Bono-Queeno, President Emeritus – Peter Forrestel, 1 st Vice President – Adam Burg, 2 nd Vice President – Bill McGorray, 3 rd Vice President – David Webster, Secretary – Mark Fogal, Treasurer – John Diggs, Director, 1 Year – Erin O’Brien, Director, 1 Year – Chris Whitmarsh, Director 2 Years – Andy Kelkenberg, Director, 2 Years – Ely Winnie, Lion Tamer – Ely Winnie, Membership – Mike Middaugh, Board Member – Gregg Brown.

Length of Service Awards were presented to: Jeff Jones – 15 Years, Harold Finger – 25 Years, Mike Middaugh – 25 Years, Brian Perry – 25 Years, Allen Thomas – 30 Years, Peter Forrestel – 40 Years, Nick Abraham – 45 Years, Daniel Shonn – 45 Years, and to Dante Marconi, for 60 years of membership in the Akron Lion’s Club and for his participation in Lions service to the community 2024.  A Special Thank You was extended to outgoing President 2023-2024 Andy Yambor.
