Alden voters pass school budget, elect two board members

Alden Central School District voters passed a 2025-2026 budget 559 yes to 174 no on Tuesday night.

Voters also approved a proposition for the purchase of school buses 586 yes to 147 no, a proposition to establish a Capital Reserve Fund 574 yes to 148 no, and a proposition to purchase Buildings and Grounds Equipment 600 yes to 132 no.

Lora Woodard was elected to a Board seat with 510 votes, Paul Roll, Jr. was elected to a seat with 414 votes .  Jessica Grum received 231 votes.
