All Trash Routes in Village of Akron and Town of Newstead delayed

Joseph M. Hickman of Modern Disposal Services has notified the Town of Newstead and Village of Akron that all Trash Routes are delaying this week.

With the current spike around our community and country of COVID-19 cases, Modern has experienced service delays.

“The safety of our employees and our customers is our highest priority, and we are working to ensure you are serviced as close to the expected service date as possible. Friday routes may push to Saturday, please leave garbage out if it is not collected on Friday.”
