Beverly and Edward Earle
Edward Earle, lovingly known to many as Ed or Eddie, passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 90 and will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was born on October 27, 1934 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The son of the late Hedley and late Elizabeth (Cook) Earle. After a six year tour in the Canadian Army, he married Beverly and started his family.
Edward was a man who had a deep love for his family, and he prioritized them above all else. He was a dedicated father, a cherished grandfather, and a proud great-grandfather. Edward’s family was his pride and joy, and he spent many happy years nurturing and caring for them.
Ed was a nature enthusiast who loved tending to his home, yard, and vegetable garden. It was a hobby that he enjoyed immensely, and it reflected his nurturing spirit. He taught this work ethic and love of nature to his children and grandchildren, inspiring them to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors as well. He worked at Buffalo Paperboard, enjoyed traveling, and long walks.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Cherry) Earle, siblings late Stella (late Jim) Cirillo, late William (Nancy) Earle, late Grace (late Leonard) Cook, late Jerry (Lynn) Earles, Jeanette (late Walter) Konieczny, Loretta (Richard) Bausch, late Phyllis (late Don) Faulkner, David (Barb) Earle, late Betty (late Bill) Minchin, and late Dennis (Marge) Earle, children, James (late Rebecca) Earle, Bill (Angela) Earle, Dianne (Kevin) Dellinger; grandchildren late Marianne Earle, Casey (Andraya) Earle, Montana Earle, Dakota Earle, Cordero Earle, Dustin Earle, Skyler Earle, Brenden Dellinger, Alexis Dellinger, Zachary Dellinger, Ashley Dellinger; and his great-grandchildren, Austyn and Emersyn Earle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held in honor of Edward and Beverly from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., located at 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY, 14001 where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. All who knew Edward are invited to attend and help celebrate his life and legacy. Beverly Earle, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, just three days after the loss of her beloved husband of 63 years, Edward Earle. The deep bond they shared of love, companionship, and unwavering support leaves a legacy of cherished memories. Together, they navigated life’s joys and their hearts remained intertwined even at the very end. Their love story, enduring and steadfast, now continues in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing them.
Her life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion to family. Beverly was born on May 3, 1939 in Batavia, NY. She was the daughter of the late Bernard “Benny” and late Dorothy (Gilliatt) Cherry. Beverly’s love of flower gardening, quilting, and crafting brought joy and beauty to those around her. These hobbies not only nurtured her creative spirit but also filled her home and the homes of her loved ones with exquisite splendor and warmth. Beverly was an esteemed member of her community in Lockport, NY, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and 6th grade Sunday School teacher at St. Joseph’s Church for 30 years. Her dedication to her faith and family was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Beverly was predeceased by three days her loving husband Edward Earle and is survived by siblings late James (late Sue) Cherry, late Ginger (Robert) Roth, late Robert (Sharon) Cherry, late Donna (Rick) Kimber, late Thomas Cherry, and Daniel Cherry her loving children, James (late Rebecca) Earle, Bill (Angela) Earle, Dianne (Kevin) Dellinger; her cherished grandchildren late Marianne Earle, Casey (Andraya) Earle, Montana Earle, Dakota Earle, Cordero Earle, Dustin Earle, Skyler Earle, Brenden Dellinger, Alexis Dellinger, Zachary Dellinger, Ashley Dellinger; and her precious great-grandchildren, Austyn and Emersyn Earle, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her legacy lives on in each of them, and they will continue to honor her memory in their hearts and through their lives.
