Bonita Jonathan

Bonita Jonathan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 23, 2020. She was born in Gowanda, New York on November 28, 1940 to Leroy and Irma (Skye) Stafford.

Bonita is a proud member of the Turtle clan. She retired from Fisher Price in 1997. She enjoyed going to garage sales, camping, bowling and playing softball. She was an avid collector of anything turtle and known as number one spectator at any sporting event in which her many grand and great grandchildren participated.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sanford Jonathan. Her beloved four daughters, Roseann (Ron) Willis, Rosemarie (Jeff) Smoke, Rae Jean General and Serious (Lyle) Logan. She is also survived by a brother, Leroy (Tina) Stafford Sr.; Twenty grandchildren and thirty-seven great grandchildren. A son Sidney Jonathan predeceases her.

A Long House Service will be held at 2 pm. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Burial to follow at the Stafford Family Cemetery.
