Alden Central Athletes of the Week

Alden Central has named two Athletes of the Week.

Brianna Brunner (Alden Varsity Girls Basketball)

Brianna Brunner is playing the best basketball of her career so far this season.  Brianna was one of the biggest reasons the Bulldogs won 3-4 games last week.  Her hot three-point shooting and her defensive play helped the Bulldogs to victory over Cleveland Hill, Cheektowaga and City Honors. 

Brianna is currently leading the program in made three pointers with (24), second in scoring with (93) points and third in rebounding with (72).  Great work Bri! Good luck the rest of the season.

Theodore Pastuszynski (Alden Unified Varsity Bowling)

Teddy Pastuszynski started the season strong, with strikes in each match he bowled. His top score of 105 was due to 2 strikes within one game. Teddy’s sportsmanship and team spirit are greatly appreciated, and he is a team player who is always in support of those around him.
