Newstead confirmed COVID-19 up 22 over one week period
Town of Newstead/Village of Akron Emergency Manager, Dan Kowalik, shared Monday that confirmed COVID-19 cases in the 14001 zip code rose by 22 last week, bringing the total to 426 positive since March. APD first on scene of shooting in Newstead, subjects arrested for other recent crimes
An Akron Police officer was the first on the scene of a shooting at 12976 Main Road in the Town of Newstead on Tuesday night, taking two subjects into custody, according to Akron Police Chief Rick Lauricella.
