Henry A. Ciurzynski, 85, of Akron, New York, passed away on June 5, 2025. He was born in Akron, NY, on October 22, 1939, to the late Henry and Julia (Wronowicz) Ciurzynski. A lifelong resident of Akron, Henry worked for General Motors as an auto worker, contributing to the manufacturing industry of the region. Henry had a zest for life that was contagious. He was known for his love of sports, particularly basketball and track, often attending high school games and meets long after his son’s graduation. Janice Elaine (Everett) Sutton, of Akron, New York, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2025, at the age of ninety-three. Born on May 11, 1932 in Akron, Janice was a beloved figure in her community and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Janice was known for her lifelong love of learning and philanthropy. She enjoyed the sisterhood of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) in the St. Cloud, Florida and Amherst, NY chapter for over 30 years.
