Winifred E. Meahl, of New York City and Akron, New York died on June 22, 2023.  The daughter of the late Grover B. and Geraldine (Buckley) Meahl, was born on April 9, 1933 and grew up in Akron, New York.  She was a graduate of Akron High School and Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English.

Donna Stock, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023, at the age of 86. She was born in Patton, PA on August 1, 1936 to the late Isadore and Viola (Van Nest) Yeckley.

Cheryl L. Winiewicz, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 21, 2023. She was born in Buffalo, New York on May 12, 1949 to the late John Woods and Gertrude (Vampotic) Gilligan.

Faith Marie Bassanello, of Akron, New York, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022 at Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home in Clarence, NY. She was Born in Buffalo, NY on August 26, 1927 to the late Thomas and Lillian (Coyle) Caulfield.

Vivian E. Wheat age 79, formerly of Akron, New York passed away November 17, 2022.  She was born June 30, 1943 in Armstrong County PA, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Vera (Knappenberger) Wheat and had lived in this area since 1955.

James Baker passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Lockport Rehab and Health Care Facility.

Arthur M. Schmidt, 72 of Lockport, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, November 3, 2022, at his residence under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice.

Irma M. Swiniarski, 98 of Akron, New York passed away peacefully at Buffalo Hospice on October 30, 2022. She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 14, 1924 to the late George and Carrie (Rieck) Herman.

Sebastian “Yono” Bordonaro, 103, went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2022. He was born in Oakfield, NY on December 2, 1918 to the late Joseph and Frances (Mazza) Bordonaro.
