Craig H. Parker

Craig H. Parker, of Akron, unexpectedly passed away on December 27, 2021. He was born in Batavia, NY on January 11, 1971 to David C. Parker and Jean M. Rosenberg.

Craig was a 1989 graduate of Akron Central High School. After high school he continued his education and became an LPN, working at Brothers of Mercy and most recently at Williamsville Pediatrics. He was also an EMT and a proud member of the Newstead Fire Company, where he just celebrated 30 years of service. He went to NYC after 9/11 and was a recipient of the Liberty Award. He especially loved playing Santa for the Newstead Fire Company and singing karaoke.

Beloved son of David Parker and Jean (Rosenberg) Setlock; loving godfather of Byron Gow. Many good friends, especially Robert and Patricia Henning, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him.

Arrangements by Ross Funeral Home of Akron. A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined. Charitable contributions may be made in Craig’s name to the Newstead Fire Company, 5691 Cummings Rd., Akron NY 14001.
