Dennis P. “Mac” McGee, 73 of Clarence, New York., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 20, 2020.

He was born February 17, 1947 in Lima, Ohio, son of the late Frank and Bernice (Mullett) McGee.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gail (Wapniewski) McGee of Clarence and cherished daughter Dr. Jennifer L. McGee of Tallahassee, Florida. He is the beloved brother of Linda (Peter) Forrestel, Nancy (Carl) Kumpf and Louis (fiancé, Joanne Bluhm) McGee, all of Akron and brother in-law to Pamela (fiancé, Jim Krieger) Brock of Depew and the late Gregory Wapniewski.

Dennis served his country proudly with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, and later as a Police Officer for the City of Buffalo. He was proud of his Irish heritage, his ‘Red Patch’ Air Force unit, and the accomplishments of his daughter Jennifer.

He enjoyed collecting antiques and could find anything for anyone when asked. Dennis was a member of the International Police Association, Vietnam Veterans of America, WNY Parrot Heads Club, Knights of Equity, Gaelic Athletic Association and was a Kansas City Barbecue Judge.

A private family funeral will be held with an Irish Wake to be held at a later date.
