Donald Keith Roth, 80 of Akron, New York passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born December 23, 1944 in Batavia, NY, a son of the late Harry and Ethel Pierce Roth.

He graduated from Batavia High School in 1962 and joined the US Air Force where he served our country from 1963-1967. On June 11, 1966, he married Elizabeth Haggerty at St. Joseph Church in Batavia, NY.

Don was employed as a technician/salesman for Agway Petroleum and later retired from Burnwell Gas. In retirement Don was an enthusiastic member of the “Akron Chain Gang” bike group. He was at his happiest when surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Roth; Son Don (Theresa) Roth Jr.; Granddaughters, Bella and Olivia Asmus; Siblings, Luella (late Ron) Snyder, Maryjean (Al) Booth, Tom (Fran) Roth, Mike Roth and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Sunday, June 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home, LLC, 32 John St., Akron, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 30, 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 5771 Buell St., Akron, NY. Burial will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery.
