Doris Pauline (Murray) Klingelsmith

1928-2024

Doris Pauline (Murray) Klingelsmith, 96, died on September 11, 2024 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on July 22, 1928, the tenth of fourteen children.  She married Glendon H. Klingelsmith on December 28, 1947 and they made their home in Akron, New York where they resided for over 50 years before moving to Sarasota in 1999. Doris worked as an LPN at Brothers of Mercy in Clarence, NY for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Anthony) Cummings of Sarasota, FL; Coralyn (James) Albrecht of Goshen, IN; a son, Larry (Carolyn) of Wooster, OH; a sister, Shirley Miller of Harrisonburg, VA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 62 years, Glendon Klingelsmith; her parents Elmer and Lydia Ann Murray; six brothers, Gerald, Elmer Jr., Franklin, Joseph, John, and Paul; six sisters Joella Troyer, Gladys Pebbles, Grace Nelson, Ruth Mawhinney, Blanche Hartzler, and Orpha Miller.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Internment will be in the Good Cemetery in Clarence, NY.
