Fidelia George
Fidelia George, “Baby Girl” 66 of Basom, New York, passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2022. She was born in Batavia, NY on November 9, 1955 to the late Ellsworth and Mildred (Ground) George.
A 1974 graduate of Akron Central High School, Fred then went on to continue her education in California at a tech school for Xerox. Besides working for Xerox, Baby Girl taught school on the Reservation, worked as a banker at the Seneca Niagara Casino, danced and was a tour guide at the Turtle. She was a proud member of the Beaver Clan and enjoyed beading.
Fred is survived by a loving sister, Marlene Thomas as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Aletha Moses and two brothers, Irving Sundown Jr. and Jerome George.
Friends and relatives called on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 6993 Council House Road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 A Long House Service followed at 2 p.m.
