Fred A McLouth
Fred A McLouth, recently of Thousand Oaks, California died peacefully on April 4, 2020 at the age of 100. He was born on June 22, 1919 to the late Fred and Minnie (Backus) in Corfu, New York.
Fred is survived by his children Fred (Chris) McLouth, James (Jan) McLouth and Kay (Peter) Boch. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Jenny (Lee) Seamans, Stacie (Nolan) Sullivan, Kelly (Mike) Delay, Ryan (Emily) McLouth, Cale (Keri) McLouth, Kyle (Gabrielle) Boch and Mike (Anja) McLouth, along with 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife Nora (Frost), brothers Lauren McLouth, Harold (Helen) McLouth, his sisters Dorothy (Harry) Aylesworth, Thelma (Ray) Lotz, Billie (Cody) Caulfield and his granddaughter Kendra Boch.
Fred was a veteran of WW2 and married his wife Nora after mustering out in 1945. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage until her death in 2014. Although they moved to California in 1975, Fred and Nora were always sure to travel east to Corfu and the Akron area many times a year to re-unite with family and friends. The area has always been home to them.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Corfu, New York on Saturday, October 8 at 11 a.m. Arrangements made by DB Beach and Son, Corfu NY.
