Garbage pickup delayed to Saturday

Weather conditions, and a significant accumulation of snow, prompted Modern Disposal Services to suspend collection operations on Monday January 17, 2022.

Monday’s collection was pushed to Tuesday, Tuesday service to Wednesday and so on. Modern will run collection operation on Saturday to ensure all routes are serviced, including those in Akron and Newstead usually scheduled for Friday.
