Gerstung scores 1,000th point
Tiger Varsity Basketball player, Benjamin Gerstung joined an elite group as he scored his 1,000th point at Wilson on January 21. Only four other players in Akron Basketball have achieved that milestone.
The team and fans paused at the Varsity Basketball game on January 29 to recognize Gerstung’s milestone, “a testament to his dedication and skill as a four-year varsity player.”
Over 82 games, Ben has been a key contributor to his team’s remarkable 63 victories, showcasing his consistency and commitment on the court. His achievements are not his alone, and he graciously acknowledges the unwavering support of his family and the camaraderie of his excellent teammates and coaches, all of which have been instrumental in his success.
