Hallmark movie shooting in Akron

The 2025 Hallmark Movie – Newport Christmas will be partially shot in Russell Park. Details were announced Thursday. A schedule follows:

Small Crew working during day
March 18 th –
Small Art Crew working Russell Park
Clinton Street parking on park side closed at 7 pm for Equipment Trucks
March 19 th –
Film Office / lunch – C Dee Wright Center
Crew Size between 50-70 need parking
Whole crew working from noon – 1 am, filming from 2pm – 1:00 am
Filming in Russell Park and on Main Street
Clinton Street parking on park side closed for Equipment Trucks
Church Street Closed – no parking for the whole day
John Street – part of John St will have no parking
Use of horse and buggy
March 20 th –
Whole crew working from noon – 3 am, filming from 2 pm – 3 am.
Filming only in Russell Park
