Howard D. Rosenberg

Howard D. Rosenberg, born January 13, 1949, in Batavia, NY, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at his residence in Clarence Center, NY.

Howard was a 1967 graduate of Akron Central School District. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Finger) Rosenberg, whom he married on August 21, 1971, marking over 50 years of shared love and partnership. He was a proud and loving father to Anita (Douglas Keleher) Rosenberg and Marc (Jaclyn) Rosenberg. 

Howard was a dedicated sheet metal worker, contributing to the manufacturing industry for 38 years and was a valued member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 71. His love for his craft didn’t stop at work; he used his skills to create sheet metal flag cases for his veteran friends, showcasing his talent and generosity.

In his spare time, Howard was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, a committed Yankees fan, and a talented steel guitar player for the band Country Memories. However, what mattered most to Howard was his family. He deeply valued the time spent together and cherished the memories they created.

Howard will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Karen Rosenberg; his children, Anita and Marc Rosenberg; his grandsons, Blake and Jace Rosenberg; Emma and Sarah Keleher; his brother, Charles (Janet) Rosenberg; and his sister, Jean (William) Setlock. He is predeceased by his parents, Howard J. and Arleen (Keller) Rosenberg, and his sister, Patricia (Rosenberg) Hahn.
