Jean Susan Klotzbach Rudolph

Jean Susan Klotzbach Rudolph went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 14, 1930 in Indian Falls, NY the daughter of the late Clara and Peter Klotzbach Jr., the 10th of 13 Children.  She married Richard M. Rudolph October 22, 1948 and they enjoyed a marriage of 73 years together until his passing on January 7, 2022.  Together they have four children; Mona Rudolph, Kenneth (Jinner) Rudolph, Betty (Boots) Hall, Tracy (Laurie) Rudolph, and 10 Grand-children.  Christopher (Michal) Rudolph, Benjamin (Liz) Rudolph, Trisha (Luke) Amos, Richard (Julia) Rudolph, Brett (Loni) Hall, Teri (Randy) Tamburlin, Debora (Nicholas) Bonn, Colleen Rudolph, Julie (Andrew) Godwin and Thomas Rudolph.  She was also blessed with 26 great grand-children.  

Throughout her life Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister, aunt and friend to so many. The Love and Dedication for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was evident to all who knew and loved her.  The greatest wish of her heart was for everyone to know her Savior and Lord of their life.  Jean was a true servant to others being a Sunday School teacher for 70 years, children’s choir director and adult choir member, secretary of her church ladies ministry and still active in the auxiliary of Gideon’s International. She is the author of a book “At My Kitchen Table” a collection of short devotionals which was self published in 2021. At the age of 94 she was still attending church services and Bible Study on a weekly basis and hosting Gideon meetings and family events in her home as often as possible. 

Her working career included housewife, wonderful mother, cashier at Mill Outlet in Batavia and Pixley’s Grocery store in Akron.  Then on to the business office at Akron Central School for 26 years and ending with a part time position in the office at the Bank of Akron for 13 years.  She officially retired in 2005. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Rudolph and 10 of her siblings.  She is survived by sisters Kathryn (Roger) Thurber, Ellen Carey and sister-in-law Jeanne Klotzbach.  Also, many loving nieces and nephews in addition to her children and great-grandchildren. 

Jean was loved by so many and was a true example of kindness and giving to others. Her daily prayers for family and friends and even strangers will be missed as well her joyful, positive spirit. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and memories on Monday, February 10th from 4 – 8 PM at Indian Falls Global Methodist Church, 7908 Alleghany Rd., Corfu, NY, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Indian Falls Global Methodist Church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to www.mcandrewfuneralhomes.net.
