Jeanette Jones
Jeanette Jones, died on April 16, 2021 at Premier Genesee Center. She was born in Basom, New York on June 3, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Anna Sundown and Sylvester Ground.
Jeanette attended the Salem Indian School and was a member of the Turtle Clan. She worked over twenty-five years for Sylvania in Batavia and retired only because she learned the plant was closing. Jeanette enjoyed reading newspapers and magazines and being around people. She especially loved shopping at thrift stores and eating out with her friends.
She is survived by a nephew, Nikkolas Bruner, a niece, Nikki Townsend and her close friends, Rita and Bunny. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Jeanette is predeceased by her brothers, Tim Jones Jr., Leo Smith, Ralph Blueye; her sisters, Charlotte Bruner and Belva Blueye-White-Doctor.
