Julie Marcolivio

Julie Marcolivio, passed away on October 9, 2020. She was born in Batavia, New York on March 4, 1958 to Arthur Haist and his late wife, Elizabeth (Milligan) Haist.

Julie married her husband, William Marcolivio in 1977 and they had three children together. She worked as a cleaning person for the Clarence Central Schools for over 29 years, retiring in 2019.

Julie was a huge animal lover and took great pleasure in caring for her fur babies: Bandit, Rocky, Hailee, and Molly who just recently passed. One of her greatest accomplishments was writing and publishing a children’s book entitled, Molly Camps. Julie loved gardening and especially enjoyed camping and antiquing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years William Marcolivio. Beloved mother of William (Kelli) Marcolivio, Joanne (Lucas) Floss, and Mary Haist; cherished grandmother to seven: Joshua, Albert, Zachary, Joseph, Angelina, Chase and Payton. and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her father, Arthur Haist, a brother Karl (Beverly) Haist, a sister, Elizabeth (late Greg) Sindo and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Arthur Haist, Jr.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC where a Funeral Service will take place at 12 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Julie’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
