Kelsey Lynn Kudla

With the passing of Kelsey Lynn Kudla on January 10, 2025, a light was dimmed too soon. Born on June 29, 2004, in Amherst, New York, she was an ambitious and creative young woman whose life was marked by a commitment to excellence. Her intelligence and talent were evident in the many endeavors she undertook in her short but impactful life. 

Kelsey was known for her creativity and imagination; she was a talented artist and writer. She was a determined and ambitious young woman who, over five years of training, earned her blue belt in karate while maintaining the highest of honors in her academics.

She recently earned her associates degree from SUNY Erie, also with high honors. Her ambition and commitment to her education were unparalleled. She had aspirations to further pursue her education and a career in law.

Kelsey is survived by her parents, Randy Kudla and Kristi Pfister; grandmother, Christine Kudla, Uncle Alan Kudla, and Aunt Karen Krzyzykowski as well as extended family, friends, and her beloved pets. She joins in eternal rest her great grandmother, Viola Turnbull; grandfather, Stanley Kudla, grandparents, George and Viola Nicholls, and Uncle James Krzyzykowski.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, located at 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, New York, 14001. Post Memorial gathering and Celebration of Life will be held immediately following services at the American Legion Post located at 9 Eckerson Ave., Akron, NY 14001.

Kelsey adored her beloved pets and was an animal lover. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Niagara County SPCA in Kelsey’s name.
