Marie H. Kennelly

Marie H. Kennelly (Moran), passed away on May 21, 2022. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York on December 6, 1930 to the late Thomas and Ann (Garlick) Snyder.

Marie was a graduate of Victor High School. She married Thomas Kennelly and they raised four boys and shared 40 great years together. She was active in three senior groups: Akron/ Newstead, Corfu, and Darien Seniors where she especially enjoyed taking day trips. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Beloved mother of William (Sue) Kennelly, John (Renée) Kennelly, the late Michael (Karen) Kennelly, and the late Thomas (Sue) Kennelly; cherished grandmother of Angela, Alexander, Gabrielle, Brandon, Justin, TJ, Brian, Sean, and Suzanne Kennelly; proud great-grandmother of five; dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Kennelly, two of her sons, Michael and Thomas Kennelly, a brother, Thomas (Vera) Snyder and a sister, Catherine (John) Wall.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa’s Church, 5771 Buell Street Akron, New York (Please assemble at church).
