Nelson J. Aldinger of Darien Center, New York passed away June 7, 2025. He was born July 14, 1938.

Beloved husband of the late Linda (Stephan) Aldinger; dear father of Janiece (Tim) Clavin-Aldinger, Thomas (Andrea) and Megan Aldinger; loving grandfather of Emma Clavin, Tyler (Katelyn Conners) and Tristan Aldinger great-grandfather of Amora Rose Aldinger; brother of Arlene (late Philip) Richardson, Howard (Chris) Aldinger and the late Robert (late Harriet), the late Gerald (Naomi) and the late Arthur (Joanna) Aldinger.

Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held at the Darien Disciple Church (formerly Darien United Methodist Church), 1951 Broadway Darien Center, NY on Friday at 10:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Darien Disciple Church or the Brett Gornewicz Foundation.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com.
