Confirmed new COVID-19 cases in the 14001 zip code, increased for the third straight week with 16 reported on Tuesday, following the previous weeks increases of 11 and 21 respectively

The confirmed number of new weekly cases in the 14001 Zip Code is now a total of 783 since March 2020. Town of Newstead/Village of Akron Emergency Manager, Dan Kowalik, said that as of September 21, 64.5 percent in this community are vaccinated, remaining the same as the previous week.
