Norman B. Heiman

Norman B. Heiman, “Bruce” passed away on April 13, 2020. He was born in Buffalo, New York on March 1, 1938 to the late Norman F. and Jessie (Geddes) Heiman.
Norman was a life-long resident of Akron, New York; where he ran the 4 generation Dairy farm and was a sales representative for Pioneer Seed for many years. He married his late wife Irene (Schurr) September 16, 1961, together they raised two children.
Bruce was a member of the SWestern New York 2-Cylinder Club and the Steam Engine Association. His life revolved around his family’s farm and family.
He is survived by his beloved children; Norman Bruce Heiman II of Akron and Christina (John W. Fleck) Heiman of Colden. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Rosemarie (late Doug) Heiman; his faithful dog Blackie, and several nieces and nephews.
He was laid to rest at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Newstead on Thursday, April 16, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
