Randolph “Randy” McWilliams

With a heart as deep as the ocean he loved, Randolph “Randy” McWilliams passed on January 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and adventure.

Randy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 15, 1960 to the late Bobby-Joe and Wilhelmina (Bush) McWilliams. Randy’s spirit was as boundless as the sea, and his laughter as refreshing as a sea breeze. A doting father and caring brother, his absence leaves a void that could never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.

Randy had a deep, unwavering love for the outdoors. His passion for fishing and scuba diving went beyond mere hobbies—they were his way of connecting with the world. He found peace in the steady rhythm of the waves and the secrets of the ocean’s depths. Having lived by the ocean for most of his life, he embraced nature in all its forms, whether during long walks or bike rides, always open to the raw beauty surrounding him. Randy was also a devoted deacon at his church, a role he cherished and carried out with heartfelt commitment.

Randy is survived by his children, Michael Pavlik, Sabrah, and Adaiah McWilliams; his siblings, Steve (Becky) McWilliams, Sean (Dawn) McWilliams, Rebecca (David) Kranz, and Michelle (Rich) Davis. The mother of his children, Leah McWilliams, and his many nieces and nephews also carry his memory in their hearts.

Friends and family celebrated Randy’s life from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Akron, 122 Main Street, Akron, NY, where a Memorial Service will start at 11:00 a.m. Those who knew him are encouraged to share your cherished memories of Randolph and upload photos to the memorial page by visiting rossakron.com.
