Richard P. Kay

Richard P. Kay entered into rest October 31, 2022.

Richard was a Master Machine Mechanic retired from Conax Buffalo. He was a local NASCAR Official, writing articles on races at Holland Speedway for Bee Publications for years. Richard particularly loved his 1959 Corvette, red with white coves.

In retirement, he built a wood shop, focusing on ash boxes for pets initially, and many other things. He and his beloved wife spent many enjoyable winters in the southwest.

Loving husband of Mary Whitcomb; dear father of Amy Lynne (Chris Sr.) Ford and Lori Kay; proud grandfather of Christopher Ford Jr. and Jillian Ford; son of the late Robert and Helen (nee Fizer) Kay; companion and cat Lucy.

Visitation was held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Shephard Bros Funeral Home and Cremation Service LLC, 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew (same location as Pacer Funeral Home).

A Funeral Service was held at Clarence Presbyterian Church, 9675 Main St., Clarence, on Saturday, at 2 p.m.
