Robert C. Baron

Robert C. Baron, 75 of Akron, New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born July 23, 1946, son of the late Chester and Betty Chittister Baron. Lockport was his hometown and where he and his wife Lori raised five children.

Robert served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1969. He was employed by Emil Von Dungen Co. in Lockport prior to his retirement. He enjoyed sports, trapshooting, fishing and was a member of Ducks Unlimited and North Forest Sportsman Club. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lorraine “Lori” Nash Baron of Akron. Children, Robert (Lisa) Baron Jr. of Florida, Kristie (Bob) Baron of Derby, Scot (Jill) Baron of Buffalo, Matthew (Tracey) Baron of Depew and Lindsay (Nate) Parr of Orchard Park. Blessed with 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2 at 2 p.m. at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, New York. A Celebration of Life will follow after the service.
