A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place at the Western New York National Cemetery on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. for Ronald H. Hatcher of Akron, New York who passed away on November 19, 2021.

Ronald H. Hatcher of Akron, New York passed away on November 19, 2021. He was born in Corning, New York on October 25, 1939 to the late Harry and Sarah Hatcher.

He honorably served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service, Ronald relocated to Western New York, where he met and married his wife of over 59 years. He was a dedicated employee of Perry’s Ice Cream for over 28 years and was a member of the local VFW Post #3180.

Ron was an avid sports fan. He followed both minor and major league teams, from the Yankees to the Sabres.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Brackett) Hatcher; beloved children Lonn (Barbara) Hatcher and Amy (William) Bruce; cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Trevor (Tennessee) Hatcher. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Parker, Dustin, and Spencer as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by several brothers and a sister.
