Ruth J. Barber

Ruth J. (nee Fuerst) Barber, of Akron, New York entered into rest at the age of 97 on March 18, 2020.

Loving Wife of the late David Barber.  Loving Mother of Marilyn, Susan (late Joseph) Brenon, Carolyn (Gregory) Stone and Ellen (Joseph Olaf.  Grandmother of John, Michael, Wendy, Jennifer, Carrie and Joseph.  Great Grandmother of Joshua, Alyssa, Michael and Dean.

Friends were invited to join the family for the Graveside Committal Service at Pioneer Cemetery, 11130 Hunts Corners Rd., Newstead on Monday at 1:30 p.m.  Arrangements by Bernhardt Funeral Home, LLC, 130 Main St.; Akron.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home.
