Thomas Rohl
Thomas Rohl, fondly known as Tom to his loved ones, passed away on June 27, 2025. Thomas was a man of many passions, most notably his love for fishing and boating. The glimmering waters and the tranquillity it offered was his sanctuary. He was known for his warm and compassionate nature, evident in his caring smile, which had the power to brighten the dullest of days.
At the heart of Thomas’s life were the people he loved. His beloved wife, June (Freeman) Rohl, was the love of his life, and they cherished 64 beautiful years of married life together. Their bond was one of unspoken understanding, shared dreams and an abundance of love. In addition to June, he was the loving father to Timothy Rohl and Karen Michelle Rohl, both of whom preceded him in death. One of his proudest roles was being a grandfather. His eyes would light up at the mere mention of his granddaughter, Natalie Elizabeth Rohl. His love for her was profound and pure, a bond that was truly special.
Arrangements by Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC. Despite the profound loss, Thomas’s life and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and lives of those he touched. Those who knew Thomas are invited to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page at rossakron.com.
