Three West Shore Farmers Markets left in 2022

The West Shore Farmers Market continues to offer locally sourced produce and other items for three more Sundays in 2022, September 11, September 18, and September 25.

The market, which began in 2021 at the corner of Cedar & Eckerson. is now located in Russell Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sundays. Vendors lined up for the month of September will offer produce, baked goods, home decor, clothing and a variety of hand-crafted items.

Some vendors you can expect to find include Human Farms, Sugarmama’s Bakeshop, Lighthammer Forge, Pain in the Craft, Drip Trip Designs, Rustic Gold, Kowalski and Daughters Farm, Good Shepherd Coffee, and Buffalo Gal Bakes.

Produce vendors are able to accept FMNP (Farmers Market Nutrition Program) and SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) coupons. These coupons were distributed earlier this month. The market is also able to accept EBT payment in exchange for tokens which can be used to purchase eligible items from vendors.

Each week children are invited to search for the market mascot, Westin, a crocheted chicken, who finds a different hiding spot at a vendor’s table each week. Children who find Westin can receive a prize each week at the market information stand.
