Village of Akron prepares for predicted storm
The Village of Akron issued a Code Red Alert Friday afternoon in advance of the predicted winter storm expected this weekend. Any Village of Akron residents who experience interruptions in their utility services should call the DPW at 716-542-2680. In the case of a village-wide emergency, information will be relayed to Village of Akron residents through the Code Red Alert.
