Village reminds residents to clear sidewalks of snow

The Village of Akron has issued reminders to Village of Akron residents that the Village Code requires the removal of snow and ice from sidewalks.

Village Code – Sidewalk Maintenance

137-2 Removal of snow and ice: Duty to remove. It shall be the duty of every owner, tenant, occupant, or other person in charge of any premises fronting on any public street or alley to remove all snow and ice from sidewalks before 9:00 a.m. following the time of the Deposit.
