Sutton who wants to say, “Hello to all our Akron/Newstead community friends!” Invites all to visit the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, www.buffalolib.org, to access your virtual world!
“The Downloadable Section will guide you to the Apps you need to open up your selection of eBooks and Audiobooks. There are titles for children, teens and adults. Music lovers, be sure to go to freegal to download 5 FREE songs a week!” Sutton said. “There are many fantastic links in the Kids section, right on the homepage, for children’s storytime at home, video streams of book readings, virtual tours, podcasts and so much more! Click on the Teen box and teens can find many of the databases that can assist with home schoolwork! You do need to enter your library card number to begin searching.”
“Many of you may be looking to fill your time by starting a new project, such as genealogy searching. Simply click on the Adult section from the homepage and start with Genealogy & Local History. You will find links to Digital Maps, Census Records, City Directories and so much more. Very exciting for genealogists, Ancestry Library, usually in library access only, is now allowing Free access during this time.
