Carl Francis Jenkins

Carl Francis Jenkins, known as “Farmer”, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. Born in Buffalo, New York on June 23, 1938, Carl was a humble, reliable, dedicated, and loving man.

He was a born farmer, his very essence tied to the earth and the cycles of nature. He was a man of the land, a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Carl’s dedication to his craft was evident in every row of crops he tended on his cherished homestead in Clarence Center, New York. 

Carl was widowed, married to the love of his life June for 56 years. Together they raised six children. His love of farming was only surpassed by his love for his family. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Shirley Jenkins and his daughter Mary Jenkins, grandson Jimmy Marino and sister Sheila (Ben) Sweeney. He will be remembered always as a loving and dedicated family man who was steadfastly reliable in all aspects of life. Carl is survived by his children Karen (Michael) Knavel, Colleen (Michael) Woodward, Kelly (Jim) Marino, Patrick (Colleen Ross) Jenkins and Elizabeth (Christopher) Simmons, his sister Sharon (Bill) Macpeek along with 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Those who knew and loved Carl are invited to St Mary’s Church, Swormville, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., to celebrate his life.
