SINGING IN SUPPORT

SILVER AND GOLD FOR LUCAS -family, friends and many from the community came out to surprise and support Lucas Lowe and his on going battle with cancer On Monday December 23. Around 125 people met at the fire hall to proceed down Brooklyn Street by candlelight to spread the holiday spirt by singing Christmas carols to Lucas and his family. Tigers win Jack and Joyce Silvernail Tournament, 5-0 Overall

The Championship game of the Jack and Joyce Silvernail Memorial Classic basketball tournament was a battle as the Pembroke Dragons, who have won the tournament multiple times, had no intentions of surrendering the crown. The Dragons dictated the tempo and physicality for most of the game, but in the end, the defense and scoring of the Tigers was too much, as they earned a 36-16 lead into halftime.
