Governor in Newstead for ribbon cutting
Governor Kathy Hochul and Town of Newstead Supervisor David L. Cummings were among state and local officials who celebrated the commissioning of Western New York’s newest large-scale electric transmission line, Empire State Line on Monday morning. Akron Community Band opens 2022 season
Akron Community Band (ACB) will present their first concert of the 2022 season in the Russell Park Gazebo, Main Street, Akron at 8 p.m. this Friday, June 17 under the direction of Holly Meides and Karlyn Backus. There is no concert on Friday June 24 as Akron Central’s Class of 2022 celebrates their graduation. Concerts continue on Friday, July 1 and each Friday night through August 12.
